もう１枚、ランガムプレイスから。
ここの特徴の１つとして、長大なエスカレーターの存在に言及しましたが、着いたフロアからは階段なしに、ラセン状に店舗が並んでいてウインドウショッピングしながら徐々に階下に下りていくことができます。
その名も、スパイラル。
個性的なショップが軒を連ねているので結構あきませんし、外の暑さと喧騒から開放されるだけでも御の字です。
疲れたらところどころにカフェがあって一服できます。
さて、そのスパイラルの上からロフト状に広がる空間があって、そこには未来都市的な広場としゃれたレストランが並んでいます。
ちょっと落ち着かないかな、という気もしますが、スペインのバル風の店があったので、グラスワインとトルティーリャで休憩しました。
ワインにちょっと酔ってしまうと、自分がどこにいるんだか分からなくなってきてしまうのです。
